About the author

I’m Guilherme Kunigami, born and raised in Campinas, a city close to Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2012, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area.

I have a broad range of interests in Computer Science but my current focus is on Data Visualization, Distributed Systems and Bioinformatics.

I did a lot of Programming Contests in the past and I’m trying to contribute more to Open Source Software. I have some code on GitHub.

Outside of the technical domain I like traveling, photography and hiking.

About the blog

Most posts are about Programming, Computer Science and Math. I’m terrible for names, but NP-Incompletness sounded reasonable. It’s a word play with the concept of NP-Completeness and Gödel’s incompleteness theorems.

Why blogging? Because I like to write down notes from things I’ve studied to help organizing my thoughts and also to detect gaps in understanding. It may be also useful for future reference.
